I think its sad but justified.Paris put people at risk drunk driving and broke the law.Paris also shunned an earlier sentence which violated her agreement with the court, ON an earlier violation. Laws are set to keep balance in society.Ms.Paris Hilton doesn't care about others in society.Paris should be made an example of.Why? Paris might not do it again, what she is doing now, ain't working,Paris felt she was above the law.

I am glad to see a judge standing up to someone who nothing more than a spoiled brat and has gotten where she is by using her name, because God knows she has no talent. She did the crime, now she can do the time. Forty-five days of no shopping, drinking, or manicures...boo hoo for Paris. Maybe if she goes in as the spoiled brat she is, she will come out as a responsible adult, unlikely, but maybe she can use this time to figure out something good to do with her life, instead of using her name and body to get ahead in this world.

I think its justified, anyone else would get the same or even worse. She has to learn that her money will not keep her from being responsible for her actions....do you think Paris gave all the thumbs down on this question????LOL

It is a good thing. She acts so oblivious to the world around her and has no sense of responsibility for her actions. Unfortunately this small stint in prison will not change her outlook on life that much and probably will make her more famous. Such is the way for celebs in our culture today.

I think she knew the consequence of violating parole, and she ignored that, and I think 45 days seems like short sentence to have been handed to her. Hopefully she will use those 45 days to think about bettering herself.
