Go for A and B though I think B is stronger. I suspect the reason quality writing, poetry, and fiction is dieing is that the average reader now days lacks the vocabulary to interpret those vivid words.

One of the reasons I like Camille Paglia is that she is a true wordsmith. I more often then not disagree with her, but she is fabulous.

To create a mental image and express the feeling and thought you want your poem or fiction to say.Vivid words also keep writing more interesting
