Why isnt there a nationally televised global warming debate between scientist and liberal idiots?

Wouldnt it be fun to watch stupid Al try to put his BS over on the scientist on national tv. He recently tried it in a speech and was ridiculed by the scientist so lets bring it to the national front.

Why is it that Nigerians are the only nationality notorious for fraud?

Dont get me wrong. I know Nigerians commit fraud, I have received those emails too. But I have watched so many exposes of British companies and their fraudulent activities. Banks adding charges to peoples accounts, dodgy estate agents signing signatures, TV programmes running fake phone-in competitions, phishing and pharming and what have you!

I also know of national newspapers running fake competitions! I worked for an organisation which grossly inflated its membership figures, while at the same time spouted off about company transparency and ethics.

None of these companies are headed by Nigerians! And these are only the ones I KNOW about!!

What is the world's greatest problem.?

Many people say it is terrorism or George W. Bush. I feel that global warming is a problem that needs to be dealt with immediately. We have maybe ten years until it really becomes a problem. Any thoughts are appreciated.

George Bush says the war on Iraq was to take Saddam Hussain from power, why are they sstill there?

He opens his latest speech with the aim of the war being to remove Saddam Hussain from power and highlight his crimes.. that's done, he's dead.. what now? Why are they still there? Why are soldiers still dying?

Why don't we just flatten the entire Middle-East?

It's obvious that Islam is a threat to the world. Just a bunch of religous fanatics that will inhumanly kill anything that doesn't agree with them. It's either us or those religous extremist killers.

Will Not Setting A Hard Iraq Pullout Date Really Matter?

Bush says setting a hard pullout date will embolden terrorists who will make plans to step up their attacks after U.S. troops leave. But, won't it be obvious when we are leaving if a date is announced or not? You can't pull 160,000 troops out at once. It takes time. It will be obvious we are leaving even if a date is not announced. Do you think the terrorists will just suddenly wake up one day and say, "Oh, sh*t! They're gone!" Puh-leeze! Plus, the terrorists are not stupid. If they are going to step up their attacks after we leave, then those plans are already made. And, how long does it take to plan and carry out a suicide attack, anyway? A couple of days, at most?

Drilling oil in Alaska... How could it be enviormentally friendly?

I'm doing a project for college, and I was wondering. I have a couple of ideas why it would be good to drill in Alaska, but I need some more concrete ideas (websites, books, etc references would be great).

I would really appreciate any of y'all's ideas. And its about how drilling in Alaska really isn't that big of an environmentally hazard than everyone thinks it is. I need solid ideas about how it doesn't affect the environment.

How can they be out of drinking water if they are surrounded by an ocean? Couldn't they drink the ocean water?

This is so hilarious! An island that is surrounded by water is "out of water!"

Umm...they have an "unlimited" source of water!

I think they might also be out of some "common sense." Geez! Can't believe this news made it onto Yahoo!'s frontpage!

Lisa Nowak, the astronaut who attempted to kidnap the other astronaut, has a NEW job with the US Navy?

How does something like this happen??? I mean, I know we all make mistakes, but it would seem she should have some serious counseling before working with our government (if ever working with our government)!!! Are there no other qualified candidates? Jeesh!

"CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The former astronaut fired by NASA after she was charged with trying to kidnap a romantic rival will develop flight lesson plans as part of her new military assignment.

Navy Capt. Lisa Nowak will work on developing curriculum and training programs when she joins the staff of the Chief of Naval Air Training Command in Corpus Christi next month, said a Navy spokesman, Lt. Sean Robertson.

She was originally expected to report for work this week, but Robertson said Nowak will start her new job in April."
