Global Warming is not a hoax. Why would someone just makeup Global Warming? There would be no reason for this. I think everyone should try to prevent global warming even if it isn't true. We should not risk this. The conservatives who are against this are just greedy people who want money from businesses who probably pay them and they just want to make sure our economy stays good. If people don't believe in Global Warming they're just idiots and if people don't care and do nothing about it they're Terrorists.

A person can "be green" and also study and implement advanced technology.....

Reading the popular media can lead a person to conclude that "global warming" is:
o- either a hoax to promote business opportunities, politicians agenda and scientists grant money.....
OR
o- a problem related to overpopulation, industrialization and fossil fuels whose solution options lie in solar power, wind power, geothermal power and nuclear fusion....

However, the correct answer may be altogether different:

NASA has released never-before-seen images that show the sun's magnetic field is much more turbulent and dynamic than previously known. The international spacecraft Hinode, formerly known as Solar B, took the images. Hinode was launched Sept. 23 to study the sun's magnetic field and its explosive energy. National Aeronautics and Space Administration scientists said the spacecraft's uninterrupted high-resolution observations of the sun are expected to have an impact on solar physics comparable to the Hubble Space Telescope's impact on astronomy. "For the first time, we are now able to make out tiny granules of hot gas that rise and fall in the sun's magnetized atmosphere," said Dick Fisher, director of NASA's Heliophyics Division. "These images will open a new era of study on some of the sun's processes that effect Earth, astronauts, orbiting satellites and the solar system." Hinode is a collaborative mission led by
the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and includes the European Space Agency and Britain's Particle Physics Astronomy Research
Council. NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., managed the development of the Hinode's scientific instrumentation provided by industry and federal agencies.

>>> as regards alternative energy methods, I favor development of the technology for nuclear fusion using lunar Helium 3

OK where do you draw the line.
I am in favor of taking better care of our resources but don't use scare tatics or what if when we don' t know.

How about the left wing nut who is making a killing off it shouldn't he be discounted just like Exxon.

Considering now all the planets are warming up does it mean its our fault.

What are you doing to min. your carbon imprint.

Call the power company and pull you power meter, sell you car, grow you own food and make you own clothes.

worldwide warming is genuine and people who attempt to disclaim it are.. in certainty residing in denial. that's brought about by using people. there is plenty - so very plenty - scientific records that places the blame squarely at our activities on the worldwide. It does not take any great intelligence to come lower back to the top as quickly as shown elementary coaching and merely watching the worldwide around you, and alongside with shown learn from hundreds of scientists globally, it hits the message homestead. It does take an ignorant individual to disclaim the actuality, for this reason the lack of understanding inherant in such denial. interpreting the information right this moment: a million/3 of the worldwide's coral species is under possibility of extinction. it is an magnificent inpact in the worldwide and something we will not opposite as quickly because it occurs. Deforestation, Co2 emissions, exponential inhabitants boost applying further and further supplies plus thinning of the ozone layer, those all upload to extra warmth and carbon interior the ambience with much less and much less of it being taken away. issues are coming to a head and this is in basic terms merely started. i for my area don't love it to happen yet with undeniable objectivity and information this is undemanding to be sure issues are in basic terms going to get plenty worse formerly they start getting extra useful. long tale short: this is extra useful to prepare for the worst and not something happen than prepare for not something and the worst happen (in a worldwide experience).

The proposed items Al gore wants us to do costs BILLIONS of dollars to implement and will add a large tax on businesses and cities.

Technology is already reducing emissions, let technology make us richer and the environment healthier.

We should all take care of the environment. But making up lies to profit off the fears of well meaning people is very wrong!
And that in my opinion is exactly what Al Gore is doing.

I agree...I think that people are taking it a bit out of context. The Earth does this... :) but I have been taking steps to lower my energy usage and changing light bulbs and the sort.

Well I don't see anything wrong with trying to make things better, but I don't think there's any reason to force it on anyone until there's concrete proof.
