When I was a kid my dad had a magazine, TIME I think and either on the cover or in the magazine somewhere it had a full spread picture of a brown Pitbull Terrier and maybe an article on dogfighting and the owner was using a thick chain as a leash. It had to have been in the mid to late 80's. Anyway I wanted to locate this magazine on the web somehow. Long shot in the dark I know.

How whould he be kept accountable if he can choose to fire those that would investagate his actions as well as the actions of his suordinates? How can he be held accountable if he can choose to suppress info that might prove wrong doing. George Bush is possibly guilty of some of the greatest manipulations of the American people, to support an agenda that served not the American people but private intrests of a few people. People who could not possibly be loyal to the American people if they were to accept the benifit of an agenda that puts the general public of America at risk.

Everyone knows that the present administration broke every law they could find standing in their way and that the populace approved of it so why all the "Outrage" now?
We still have all the laws they broke and changed on the books and those laws will stll be held by the next president no matter the party and we will see more laws passed using them as precedents. Meanwhile the peoplein New Orleans and the whole hurricane relief efforts of that time are suffering from lack of activity while spending billions every year.
the plans laid for the last 20 years to increase our military insertion into Africa Latin America and quite possibly Iran and the Caspain sea area are ongoing and still being financed by US taxpayers and the same people are still making money.
Meanwhile every damn social program is being cut, yes your college loans is a social program, elderly paying too much for medicines, pre school cut, WIK money cut, and the billions being spent upon gettng elected continue.

Have you noticed we as a society are more segregated than ever before...

Can you think of cultures which come here now(unlike the past), and don't learn the culture, don't learn the language, and live on the fringes of society?

What are some of the results of such an approach of coming to America, halfway?

Your thoughts, please.

i am currently a final year student on a joint honours in media arts and journalism course and ever since i studied journalism at my university i have realised that it is one of the most cynical, manipulative industries not to mention dull courses i have been on. three years ago, my ambition was to become a journalist working for either newspaper or magazine, but as i got older, i realised that mostly all news these days is all spin, lies you name it. i decided i no longer wanted to become a journalist because i was and am disillusioned not just with the way the journalism course was run - though i still intend see out the remaining months so i can graduate- but the experience has literately put me off from becoming a journalist for life. therefore, i have no intention of becoming one after i graduate in the summer, or ever.

are you swayed or influenced by what you read, hear and see? what are your opinions on journalists or journalism in general or as a academic subject or practice?

We all know Iran is enriching uranium - they say for energy, others say for nuclear weapons.

Are there other reasons to be against their enrichment of uranium? Economical? Does anyone benefit from them not having nuclear power plants?

Please, no political jibber-jabber.
