Is the U.S. on the verge of collapsing?

Not at all, we just like to squabble, let there be a real threat, and we will all pull together, as we did before Bush went into Iraq, we worked quite well and quickly to get in Afghanistan to get Osama, its only when we realized we had been had by leaving off Osama and going after, well, whatever it was we went after in Iraq did we come to a parting of the ways.

The last time I looked, wasn't the Southern States part of the United States under the same government and not effective any different than the land up-North. if so, then I would say no we are not on the verge of collapsing. If the Southern States are not part of the same government and our out-look has no opinion then, yes we are on the verge of a collapse!

Well, chaos if not collapse. Right now they're into "bread and circuses"--food and an inexpensive, high standard of living. They forget that all empires eventually fall.
