If child a report should have already been submitted, if adult they say you have to wait 24 hours. Sometimes that is too late. I would contact the detective division of your nearest PD Dept. and insist that they take a look at what if any evidence you have that points to this family members absence/disappearance.

The squeaky wheel is the one that gets oiled. Have you ever heard that? Be loud and demanding of your local police and take advantage of your local news stations. E-mail people like Nancy Grace at CNN, Start at home, call your local stations, put out fliers, bug the police, never give up until you get answers. I know nothing of your circumstances, I can tell you that I would be LOUD and MAKE people listen to me if one of mine was missing. God Bless you, I'll pray you get help and your loved one returns home soon. USE THE MEDIA!!!

...first. Is the person an adult or a child...? if the person is an adult (over 18) that's a difficult "challenge" unless you can show evidence of "foul-play" etc....most of the time "they" consider a person who is "missing" over the age of 18 as making a free-choice... you can still report it to the Police and the local news but be ready to provide lots and lots of needed evidence... If the person is a "child" we should be seeing it on the 6PM news today...!!!!!

a few people in my family are missing. but the police wont do anything because most of them are adults, the rest are children. your best bet will be to get the news media involved. good luck!!
