People. No other life form is responsible or capable of the causing the many problems that are leading to our demise. As to how it can be fixed, I don't see how six billion people can get together and agree on solutions, especially if there is no profit in it. Do what you can and pray that God will take care of it.

of late i see the signs of a pole shift,
see the sun has one every 11 years we get sun spots
but on a water planet the magnetic lines generate weather abnormalities winds , cyclones /typhoons earth quakes

you cant fix global warming in 5 years
lets do stuff that will help us survive a pole shift ,
grow food crops [enough to feed us for 7 years /be set up to grow food hydroponically in high rises
decentralize needed emergency equipment in high spots
not subversion zones
ban non food cropping till 2013

pole shifts are survivable
they really are only gravity waves , acting as tsunami ,yet that causes no light for 2 years due to the dust thrown up
that pollution needs to be survived
growing indoors is water best practice ,

but light must be of a suitable wave length to grow food , set the standards that ensure we have the means [just in case]
why not specify the new lights have the sun spectrum capabilities set into its performance data []specifications][
