okay so once again i'm asking about the magazine industry.(highschool freshmen) i've been looking around an still im pretty clueless. so what jobs does the magazine industry offer?? and whats the difference between publishing and editing? you start with an internship right...then what? get a job as...a journalist? i guess b.c you hafta work your way up right? i just really need some good advice! like a book that tells me EVERYTHING i need to know about the magazine industry or someone who can answer all my questions. i take this very seriously so please leave only helpful information. thankyouuu sincerely, karina

Between Bill O'Reilly and Olberman who has more knowledge about what they talk about and who does more research? My father likes Bill O'Reilly and I despise the man. He says things from total left field and really does NOT know what he is talking about. Not long ago he said a 15 year old child "enjoyed" being held captive for 4 from age 11 to 15 because he "didn't like school". Anyway I'm just looking for opinions.

The media has great influence on society, young people specifically. Much of what is transmitted via tv and internet to families around the world is destructive.

The media plays a strong role in shaping culture. Much of the media is controlled by a few multimational conglomerates with great influence so don't you feel they should promote healthy values and safeguard our common good, uphold the truth, protect human dignity and promote respect for the needs of families?
