If you're talking about local news that everyone is talking about. Joplings is going to close.
Joplings is a Sunderland based department store and has been part of our lives for about 100 years. It's considered to be quite upmarket. Last year it was taken over by new owners and we all breathed a sigh of relief that it was going to stay open but two days ago, the Echo reported that it was closing down. I'm going to take my card for a little spree on Monday for old time's sake.
I've yet to break the news to my sister. She lives in Kent and Joplings is on the itinery every time she visits.

it sounds like you just woke up. hopefully you are not 'in prison' or under guard..or in the hospital. seriously -- you need a good cappuccino or Turkish coffee to wake you up to the brave new world we live in. some days up some days down. and other days under. you look under now. the hope is you will be out in no time with spring in the air. keep up your moral or go back to sleep. hope it helps.
ps. i am writing from the world under the sea -- i have a condo and wake up is natural here --we never go to sleep like the fish!
