It wasn't even Pelosi who was the one who SUGGESTED the bigger plane. But that aside, WHY is this major news? I would think the fact that the US has TWO wars going on that this wouldn't be a major news story. Or what about Libby's trial? Or how about what is going on in North Korea and NUKES? Or what about the illegal aliens that are invading the US?

WWII is a great example as well as today`s conflicts. When were liberals ever right ? They and their policies have been proven wrong time and time again and that is a fact...but, what do you think ? Why are liberals so afraid ?

On Tuesday, Feb. 6th, the root servers of the Internet suffered the biggest attack since 2002. The attack strained 3 of the root servers and caused Internet traffic to significantly slow down, but did not cause the Internet to go down, thankfully.

Can an attack of this magnitude be instigated by a small group of people or would it require a large organized group? Does the sophistication of the attack indicate that a terrorist entity or enemy government is behind it?

Was it ever determined who was responsible for the last major attack in 2002?

It was speculated that Tuesday's attack originated in South Korea. Is it possible to determine more precisely where the attack originated (why would S. Koreans want to take down the Internet, anyway?).

Would it theoretically be possible to ‘disconnect’ an individual country or an entire region in order to prevent the whole Internet to crash, if the source of an attack could be ascertained?

I am sick and tired of these damn muslims living in the UK taking advantage of the British tolerance (which is running out). Plotting to kidnap a British asian soldier serving in the British Army killing him and then posting his beheading on the internet.
It is time for Muslims to think about the country they are living in that this is a predoninately a Christian country it always has been and always will be!!
It is time for BRITISH people to get out into the street and start protesting against these muslims and start demanding that they should be sent back to where they come from.
We Brits have been far too tolerant for far too long and it is time we started standing up for British-ness multi culturism is not working. It is time for them to go and I don't care if you think I am a racist I am defending my country and my faith this is my country not their's and they do not have the right to live here.

I mean, it's tragic for the 5-month old baby, but I will not mourn the death of a gold-digging former stripper. Look at the Boston Globe obituaries and you'll find some other people who have died; there is a doctor who used to trudge thru the snow to help people, a nobel laureate, and a 110 year-old WWI veteran - oddly, none of these great people's death made the news.

I would like to find an objective rating of news sources (e.g. Newsweek, FOX, New York Times, The Nation) and their stated and actual slant or bias.

I would also like to find out the media ownership chain as well (e.g Disney owns ABC etc)

I once climbed some rocks leading from a beach and found myself in a beautiful meadow with what I thought were amazing multicoloured flowers as I walked through them to admire them I realised they were not flowers but hundreds and hundreds of beautiful butterflies and at that moment each one of them just took flight and I felt intoxicated by their beauty as they swirled around me I tried to call out to someone to come and experience this absolutely amazing sight but I could not talk this vision had truely just taken my breath away I will remember this moment in time to the day I die this for me was in every sense of the word breathtaking. Has anybody else experienced somthing amazing?
