It wasn't even Pelosi who was the one who SUGGESTED the bigger plane. But that aside, WHY is this major news? I would think the fact that the US has TWO wars going on that this wouldn't be a major news story. Or what about Libby's trial? Or how about what is going on in North Korea and NUKES? Or what about the illegal aliens that are invading the US?

The Neocons are grabbing at anything that might look slightly unseemly and put the Dems in a bad light. They're still smarting from getting their fat, corrupt arses kicked in the election. They love to mislead, misinform and outright lie - and their loyal kool-aid drinking followers lap it up like Rush pops Oxycontin!
Of course the issues you mention deserve much more coverage and analysis and perhaps solutions. But why worry your pretty little well-coifed Repub head when you can blow an inconsequential story totally out of proportion!

because the people in washington. think their so dawm important. its no news a waste of air space. they are worse than hollywood the two most out of touch places in america hollywood and washington dc . no class no morals real scum
