WWII is a great example as well as today`s conflicts. When were liberals ever right ? They and their policies have been proven wrong time and time again and that is a fact...but, what do you think ? Why are liberals so afraid ?

First, let's define "evil" in our world. The greatest evil in our world today is the economic misery that keeps billions in poverty and buries tens of thousands of children every day because of starvation and easily treatable infectious diseases.
Since "liberals" seem to be the only ones who actively try to combat conservative economics i.e. economics that favor the rich and debases the poor, they are in fact fighting against evil.

Sweeping generalizatins and inflammatory comments never helped bring two sides together. I personally find that both sides have bad seeds in them and both viewpoints can be flawed at times. It's just as bad for you to blame liberals of being afraid as it is for liberals to blame conservatives for being war mongers. It's brief, crude and generally untrue, at least in some respects. It's all good to stir up controversy and get people to think, but when you phrase it like that, I figure most liberals will just start blindly insulting you than actually will sit there and actually ponder your message. That's just human nature I guess. Anyway FDR was a Dem and brought us through WW2, so that's kind of a bad example.

As a matter of historical fact LBJ was a democrat and escalated the war in Vietnam. I recall it was Richard Nixon that withdrew the troops when things weren't going the way the nation was willing to tolerate. The fact that you would lead of your question the way you did, gives a perfect example of conservative misinformation. Could it be that the people of this country have had it with Bush. And his running the troops through the meat grinder that has become Iraq? And it's not based on political point of view at all, liberal or conservative?

FDR was one of the biggest liberals in the history of the twentieth century, and he wasn't afraid of attacking evil. So I'd start by saying that you're wrong about liberals being afraid.
Secondly, I had no problem with pounding Al-Quaeda into the floor, and going through Afghanistan to do so. So today's liberals are not afraid to attack evil - or, at least, not all of them.
But I'm not comfortable with being spread too thin. Saddam was contained - and though he was evil, he wasn't a direct threat the way Al-Quaeda had proven themselves to be. Had we maintained our focus, and crushed AQ before turning our attention elsewhere, I would have been all for it.
Recruitment levels had been falling for years. The troops weren't there. And we're finding that out now, as our armed forces wear down.

Geez people, get your heads out of your butts and think for yourselves! Just because Bush says one thing doesn't make it gospel. It's Cheney that's running the show!
Conservatives are grasping at straws. They are now in the minority and are running scared. Thank goodness most of us can see through the crap. The best way we can support our troops is to provide the best equipment for them while they're there and bring them home asap. Then we need to treat them with respect and get them the help once they get home.
Bush is going down in history as one of the most ignorant, ill-informed presidents this country has ever seen. OPEN YOUR EYES!

Liberals by and large are sniveling appeasers. You only have to look at their position during the Cold War. Liberal nitwits like John Kerry campaigned for unilateral disarmament in the face of the evil Soviet Union nuclear threat. It took Ronald Reagan standing strong against the "evil empire" to defeat them. Same is true today. These fools think they can somehow negotiate with these islamo facists and if we somehow "leave them alone" they will not attack us. The vast majority of them never served in the military and in fact most "dispise" the military like there former leader Bill Clintoon.
