I do not know there was not really anything new to his speech tonight. He still mentioned the difficult task to restrain us from being depended on too much foreign oil.
He pointed out on searching for alternative fuel to fuel our automobiles in the future.
He pointed out the no child left behind, cause I still think that bill does cause more harm than doing any good.
A very somber speech on the war in general.
His speech about global warming and energy resources.
What do you all think? Is his approval rate going to increase?

ideas, or ways to correct his mistakes. In what ways will he make the U.S. a safer place to live in, and what did you think he feels about some of our soldiers dying? What did he say worth the time you spend listening to him.

I write an satirical advice column but I am currently stumped on new ideas. My theme will be valentine's day but I feel as if I have already gone through and made fun of every relationship problem that is commonly asked. I don't want to say anything too outrageous of course but it would be great to get more ideas. Does anybody have any?

If india is the most pro-american country in the world, why does the media show all the negatives of india. When I go to Mumbai, India although the roads are bad and there is some poverty we go clubbing, to great restaurants, bowling, out to see movies, Shopping at gigantic malls. At New delhi and Bangalore we do the same. American media makes it seem like we have nothing. As if we ride elephants, charm snakes, have palaces everywhere, live in poverty...this is only true for the rural areas and tourist destinations. Also, there isn't much desert like they make it seem. Some places have really good infrastructure. The american media is really disturbing.

Did they miss the fact that barring nuclear inspections was part of the problem that gave a war in Iraq support at its start or are they just banking on the fact that liberal democrats will support them in their endeavors to advance their nuclear weapons?

I used to love the United Nations, not so much anymore. What the hell happened to them? They now take years to respond to enormous conflicts like, um... genocide?! Ok, fine, if your peacekeeping volunteers deem Darfur too dangerous to moniter 24/7, fine. But women get raped venturing outside the camps looking for food, and men get killed. Why don't they drop in food so they don't have to leave the sanctitude of their refugee camps? The Berlin Airlift was pulled off without a hitch, and last time a checked the Sudanese are in more trouble than Berlin's residents ever were.

I've always wanted to ask this question..I know that amongst other things one of the first thoughts of millions of people across the world on 9/11 was ''how the hell are we gonna put out this raging fire 100+ stories up?''the answer shot back in alot of our minds as we flashedback to images of those huge aircrafts that fly over forest fires on the west coast and dump tons of water on them.
After watching replays of the attacks,I can see how both towers succumbed. They remind me of two matchsticks feeding off of one anothers heat.We all know that the north tower burned for 1hr. and 42 min. before collapsing!!!
My question is why didn't Gulliani,or Pataki,or whoever else was in a position of power attempt to extinguish the blaze in the same fashion as those forest fires?Conspiracy theory aside I believe the towers could have been saved as well as many lives if the above mentioned rescue tactic been executed.Am I wrong in this assessment? If not ,then was this action considerd?
