I write an satirical advice column but I am currently stumped on new ideas. My theme will be valentine's day but I feel as if I have already gone through and made fun of every relationship problem that is commonly asked. I don't want to say anything too outrageous of course but it would be great to get more ideas. Does anybody have any?

Write answers to questions you imagine TV sitcom characters would be asking. E.g. George Costanza, maybe the neighbor from 2 & a half men, Spence from King of Queens, Robert from Everybody love Raymond... the possibilities are endless

Enjoyable sex does not equal "I have to be with him". This is why I usually caution people about having premarital sex, or at least not having sex early in a relationship. A sexual relationship causes very strong feelings and longing for that person. It's like an addiction. You may feel like you love him, but your strong want for him may be clouding your judgment. Is he good for you? Is he honest? Could you honestly stay with someone who betrayed you like that? With all respect to you, I really hope that you will stay away from him and find a good man that is worthy of your trust and love. Take care, and have a happy new year!

Sometimes, letting go seems like the easiest thing to do. But think about this: you've invested so much of your time and energy into another person; you've made a solemn promise; and you still know there's love, even if it's hiding underneath the surface.
