Our student paper at the Community College of the Cascades is going to start a podcast that is going to act as an audio version of our paper. I am starting this project from scratch so any advice from other podcasters out there (e.g. advice on equipment, distribution methods, random advice etc...) would be very helpful.

Should the City of Miami be hosting a celebration of Castro's death in the Orange Bowl, when it happens?

The US left was saddened when Saddam was executed, will the City of Miami's plans to celebrate Castro's impending death in the Orange Bowl upset people other than the Cubans who came to America to wait Castro out? Is it proper for a city administration to plan this event?

I've read tha a "deal" was made between the Zionists, (when Germany was losing, (WWI) that IF they could

assure that the Allies would win the war, (with their help, i.e. bringing in the U.S. to " tip the scales" Since Germany, at that time was winning the war), would they promise to allow Israel/Zion a "home" in the Middle East?

What can we do to stop all the deaths of young people on our roads. This weekend alone there have been 16 deaths,on the North East roads alone. mostly of young people, it needs to stop, and it needs to stop NOW.!!!!

Which is more rewarding. a career in print media or a career in electronic media in terms of remuneration?

I am a final year student of Bachelors in mass communication and am equally capable in writing for print media or reporting before a camera for electronic media. Totally confused, i dont know what choice to make. Considering, i have to repay an eductional loan, please guide me which field would be better in terms of joining remuneration package, subsequent growth, job satisfaction, relevant increment etc. Can i switch between either of them after some years of experience and will that experience be counted?

How do the Newspapers recover the AMOUNT Paid to celebreties for interviews/scoops/pictures.?

A lot of us are interested to know the economics behind these payments.Since the payments are substancial , are the prices of these tabliods/newspapers increased for these days.If not does the circulation go up ( 10 to 15 times ) to recover the payment made??Finally why do people buy these papers/magazines when they can as well as share it with neighbours/others.Why are people so interested in knowing the opinion/ seeing the photo of some one whom they have never met or will never meet again.
