Very good idea. If that is what it takes to stop the terrorists then go for it. It won't show anything personal and wont reveal what underwear you are wearing. It will be just like looking at an x ray. Dense plastic explosives and such will show up as dark shapes.

Never give your password or credit card details away!!
But the goverment is determined to do just tyhat - by havine a central database which brings in all the different agencies together - i.e Doctor's , Passport, Bank , Inland Revenue,
the government is making it easier for hackers and criminals to take your identity away. Once this has been done it is virtually impossible to get back your identity and will be a painful experience for anyone who is a victim. There are those who say that it is exactly for that reason ( to catch criminals ) that we need ID cards. But it has not worked to deter crime in France, Germany and Italy - where the average Policeman carries a gun and is entitled to random stop/search for no reason.
If you give your power as an individual citizen away to the goverment then you cannot complain when the facist regime comes into power and wants to Barcode you like they did with the Jews in Hitler's Germany. Many germans looked upto Hitler as a saviour because of a crippling economy and war debts and High Inflation. History tries to put up a caricature of Hitler as being evil ; it was the regime that was evil and the majority of the populace follwed him.

I only saw that in the paper this morning and was taken aback with it. IT'S THE CLOSEST THING TO CRAZY I'D EVER SEEN.
What will the government think up next....Just to catch the offenders with hidden bombs and guns in order to protect the innocent. What about if every body did'nt wear any foundation garments...Not only will they get a free peep show but a good giggle also. They would tell you to walk down the street with nothing on at all next but if you do....you would soon get arrested for gross indecency.

Oh what a surprise - the Government plans to impose draconian infringements of our liberty to sort out the problems they created.
It wouldn't be like them to use them for other purposes now would it! They could sell the video on ebay! It could be a valuable source of revenue.
PS aren't x-rays dangerous in regular doses ?

i think its a great idea if you want to clear london of all the population. it was probably john reid's idea - he is a fan of letting perverts go loose.
p.s. "It won't show anything personal" - haven't you seen the examples? It shows everything and the only way to cover it is to wear a metal suit or something, as it can't see through this (otherwise wouldn't see guns etc.). Read up about this before praising this terrible idea.

the stunning invasion of privateness is a woman operating into the restroom, conserving her chum's borrowed cellular telephone intense of the stall, and snapping a image of you sitting on the lavatory. Then once you call the police, the choose makes a call it is no longer attainable to convict each and anyone for it becuase the girl who owns the cellular telephone says she "can't save in ideas" who borrowed her cellular telephone even as the image became taken. and evidently, she's no longer to blame because she says she's no longer the single which took the image. convinced, I stated THIS take position IN A JUVENILE court.

The English laws and ideas of freedom and privacy, free speech, etc were made many years ago, for a reasonably homogeneous and civilised society and culture, where no one strapped explosives on his body, in order to kill school children in an aeroplane.
Since those days we have taken in, to share our limited space, millions of people of different culture, ethics and barbaric religions. We cannot have it both ways. We either go to where we were, or we accept the measures required to protect us.
I do not mind at all if some security staff wants to see if I have a bomb on me, but I yearn for the days when we had freedom of speech.

Gee, I thought x-rays were harmful.I really doubt they could ever do enough to make us that safe.If terrorists have the idea to blow up a plane they'll find another way.Don't fly is all I can say.If a plane does blow up; you're that much closer to heaven anyway. How much do the families get when their loved ones die on a plane now?

No one needs this kind of invasion--- it is a simple way of controlling the populous and if Engenders do not stop it soon they will have tyrants controlling whatever they do. I wanted to visit London, but not any more. And they want to use the excuse that terrorism is what they want to prevent--- and the populous is just eating it up like sweet candy--- wake up people...!

LONDON? Well, I can only say that it is only a matter of time before the USA does this as well. Here in the USA we are quickly becoming a dictatorship type nation. I hope that you in LONDON do NOT follow suit.
