No he never attended school in the U.S.
He spent many years in private Catholic boarding schools, finishing high school at Belen, a Jesuit school in Havana in 1945.

Could be true, he resided in a New York City Hotel with his German Mistress for a number of years.

I don't know. But apparently many people, who are hated in the US, visited it before and attended schools and universities there.

My understanding is that he did come to the US to play minor league baseball and the US government actually helped set him in power in Cuba because they thought that he would be a close ally.
