I am a final year student of Bachelors in mass communication and am equally capable in writing for print media or reporting before a camera for electronic media. Totally confused, i dont know what choice to make. Considering, i have to repay an eductional loan, please guide me which field would be better in terms of joining remuneration package, subsequent growth, job satisfaction, relevant increment etc. Can i switch between either of them after some years of experience and will that experience be counted?

The future is probably better for electronic media. Everything is going to the Internet. Even the print newspaper I work for has a Web site that gets more hits than papers we put out.
Try doing some freelance work for magazines in addition to whatever job you chose.

Speaking as a journalist myself, if you're smart you'll pick another field to get into other than journalism. Either that or learn to love Top Ramien noodles. It's a shame that you have to go through college to earn pretty much what someone at McDonald's makes with a GED.
