would this be better. Some leaders when executed seem to have an influence that keeps on having and effect on history.

Given that the civilised world frowns upon the death penalty, here is a chance to get creative. What other form of punishment could be used to more humanely - and perhaps more poignantly - bring Sadaam to justice?

My offering would be for him to have to go into an arranged marriage with a big American hicksville farmer's daughter, who is a trained wrestler and has particularly strong femminist viewpoints on life in general.

He would have to work out the rest of his days harvesting wheat which would feed the American population (whom he so adores) by day, whilst at night would have to cope with Gertie's aggressive sexual advances.

Hopefully, it will be a televised event. I am planning on having a Superbowl-style party with catered food, beer and wines. How about you?

At the end of October, North Korea was blatantly testing nuclear missiles. Now, at the beginning of November, Iran is testing missiles in the Persian Gulf. Personally, I find this disturbing. We still have ALOT of active duty personnel in S Korea, and of course we all know the situation with the middle east. Does anyone else wonder how this is going to turn out and/or be handled? It seems the only thing being seriously discussed in news is the politics of next November. What about THIS November?

Do you think he will actually be hanged?

I have my doubts, quite frankly. I have a gut feeling there is going to be a massive jail break operation carried out by his followers. I don't like this.

People will be submitting their video to Ian Inaba who is, quote: "Staging a revolution", to be televised. Citizen videographers monitor voter polling sites during tomorrow's mid-term elections and in greater numbers during the 2008 presidential election. Their purpose: Bypass the Mainstream Media and provide real-time, online media coverage of any problems that arise at voting sites." -- doing it Paul Revere Style! Here's the website:"

Do more Americans need to join this heroic effort that will be televised?

Previously they unleashed a war loving monster on the world in the shape of George Bush, and there has been nothing but bloodshed since.
Have the American's learned anything from previous electoral decisions?
Will they reflect more carefully before they cast their votes in the forthcoming elections, knowing that the decisions that they make can reverberate around the world - for good or ill.
Will the American's use this opportunity to restore their former good name in the world which has, sadly, been badly dragged through the mud, to the point that they have lost the high esteem in which they were once held universally.

Ex- president of Iraq has been convicted for many mass murders during his presidential era. He has been recently declared to be given death penalty. Do you think it well soothe the wounds of all those whose heart and souls were killed by Saddam Hussain or it is going to flare up agressively to all those who were in favour of his such mass murders during his rulling era and they will kill more shias in iraq and christians in iraq and more EU personals.

I'm really sad to see that the good efforts of Jamie Oliver are not turning out as expected. Do you think it's partly the parents to blame who give their kids all sorts of junk? Surely, if kids can get away with eating junk all the time, they'll soon get a taste for it and will not want anything else. Like those mothers who were taking chips over the shchool fence - are they fuelling this? Have kids been spoilt rotten in our wealthy society where food is easily available everywhere? Why has Jamie's effort gone so bad?

The USA are occupying iraq, therefore they are a "vichy state" therefore subject to the Unitied nations and the United nations doesnt permit the death sentence !!!

So if that isnt sorted it becomes "unlawfull murder"

I heard with disbelief on radio 5live last night that a well known UK airline have a policy of not allowing under 16's to sit next to a man on a plane unless he is related.
the child can however sit next to a woman.
Doesnt that enforce the misguided belief that all men are abusers till proven innocent?
what about the myra hindleys and rose wests of the world??
another case of male bashing and blatant sexism.
no wonder us men are getting paranoid. the world has gone mad!!

To all war supporters, you need not answer this question because you'll say "it's unpatriotic to speak out against it."
