Given that the civilised world frowns upon the death penalty, here is a chance to get creative. What other form of punishment could be used to more humanely - and perhaps more poignantly - bring Sadaam to justice?
My offering would be for him to have to go into an arranged marriage with a big American hicksville farmer's daughter, who is a trained wrestler and has particularly strong femminist viewpoints on life in general.
He would have to work out the rest of his days harvesting wheat which would feed the American population (whom he so adores) by day, whilst at night would have to cope with Gertie's aggressive sexual advances.

HELLO! ALTERNATIVES TO DEATH. AS IN, NOT KILLING HIM. NO FIRING SQUADS. NO DEATH. SOMETHING DIFFERENT, BUT IMAGINATIVE. NOT ACTUAL DEATH. HE REMAINS ALIVE, BUT SUFFERS. HE DOES NOT DIE. KILLING HIM IS NOT AN OPTION HERE. DOES ANYBODY ACTUALLY READ THESE QUESTIONS?

Oh dear, College republican didn't get the joke, did he?
You see, my dear fellow, I was exercising that little known art of "irony" - Iknow, I know you struggle with it over your side of the pond.... but let me explain....
By using the expression "the civilised world" to describe those countries who do not have the death penalty, I was implying that those countries who do have the death penalty are not quite so civilised as they might like to think.
Yes, I am afraid I did have a particular geographic location in mind... do you think you might be able to guess which one?

He should have to watch a continuous loop of Bush speeches. If we have to listen to that idiot, he shouldn't get away with out having to. Then he can sit there and think, "This is the idiot that brought me down?"

"Given that the civilised world frowns upon the death penalty"
Sorry, but you are mistaken. In the USA, capital punishment is very popular.
>> I was implying that those countries who do have the death penalty are not quite so civilised as they might like to think <<
Yes, of course you were implying precisely that! However, your implication is meaningless, because you are not qualified to make such an assertion. You see, the USA is the penultimate civilization. Those who reside in the lesser nations of the world would do well to learn how to respect their betters (i.e. Americans). There is only one country's flag planted upon the surface of the Moon.
Your "joke" therefore falls flat. When your pathetic nation can traverse outer space and land human beings upon extra-terrestrial surfaces, get back to me.
The USA is the "civilized world". All other nations are inferior.

The killing component to Hussein is deeply comprehensible regardless of the shown fact that the completed putting, quite the video grab of it, thoroughly baffles and infuriates me. instruct the guy some very final rejoice with by potential of potential of a minimum of poisoning, whether. I somewhat ought to assert that the Iraq government have been too harsh and consistent. Even, Hitler killed himself, with a shot, I somewhat have self theory?

that idea of yours, about him gettin arranged marriaged, that isnt a punishment for him lol dunno if you know or not, but sadaam has abused many women, so 2 get married it won't be a punishment, even though the woman would be a farmer or a wrestler lol he wil work his way out - thats how cunning he is. i fink after death- if thats not a option- he should be locked in a small cage with no windows or anthing, with rats n them gross spiders n god knows what else lol he will definetly see his past catching up with him. i hope them rats eat him away lol ewww gross!! :S

He's going to get hanged anyway which is bad but i think being stoned to death will be worse. As long as he suffers i think the whole world will be happy.

Infuse him with both a conscience and a profound understanding of the impact of his actions in the past.
Unfortunately this is impossible, such is the nature of 'ideal'
