I don't think we need to visibly celebrate, but it's good for us to feel good that the system sometimes works. We should be happy as they celebrate in Iraq that a mass murderer is given what he deserves.
Maybe the other terrorist types will take notice and quit trying to murder innocent people, but I doubt it.

I can understand your point of view - but unfortunately, this kind of inflamatory reaction only serve to alienate even more, the USA from the vast Muslim world - and you are probably going to reap the whirlwind of backlash for many years to come.
Far better to forgive and forget and try to re-build bridges with your former enemies - that is the only way to find a lasting peace.
Don't believe me - look at the Arab/Israel conflict for confirmation.

Now that the American invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan have ended in defeat, those most responsible for the destruction of those two countries, tens of thousands of deaths, and a bill for US taxpayers in excess of $2 trillion (according to Nobel prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz) are running from any responsibility.

no matter how evil someone is, it is no time to celebrate. i find it very sad and depressing that a human being can be so evil without giving a second thought of the evil he has brought upon the world.how sad it is.

I think we should all celebrate by setting off some plutonium fireworks over Tehran and Damascus.
