I would say no, just for the reason that the person that is getting the death penalty didn't see it necessary to impose that kind of mercy on the person that got him/her on death row in the first place.

well , i assume you are talking about in Saddam's case , I'm afraid the answer to your question is yes and but he still have to die.
Yes they will postpone "hanging" due to his ill health, however , since he is so ill ,we could give him a lethal injection to end his suffering .
One way or another , some people will make sure Saddam must die.

Yes, I believe the individual needs to be in good health, although does seem a bit odd seeing as they are going to die, but one of these strange regulations.

i dont see the point if ur gonna die anyway u might as well kill them then instead of let them suffer the illness and also make them suffer knowin they are gonna die thats bad enuff!
