Here are a few ideas. By hanging. By shooting. Suicide. "Assisted" suicide. Assassination. Old age.I would have said assisted suicide, but too many people have cottoned on to that, so I now think he will hang.

Why ONLY Saddam Hussein?. If JUSTICE is justice and all people should be getting JUSTICE, why not than these other people getting murdered in Africa by their leaders face JUSTICE. How come WE NEVER even talk about the causes of their crises, but we talk about "food shortages", and their civil wars, but NEVER talk about their causes, IT IS BECAUSE we support their leaders who are doing that. SAME THING WE DID for Saddam Hussein in the 1980's.

There are more SICK and BLOODY men out there than Saddam Hussein in Africa. All Saddam was DOING IS to protect his country from what it fell today, all the people he was killing and arresting were people who were co-conspirators who would either co-operate or work with the Americans which wanted Saddam dead. EVERY MAN HAS THE RIGHT TO DEFEND HIS LAND, wasn't that the American idea too?.. Saddam didn't have a different view point than American one.

Bill Blakemore is a reporter for ABC, he specializes in Global warming/enviromental issues. He has flat out said that he will not cover or consider the opinions of scientists who question global warming. As you might deduce, Blakemore believes the world will soon end and the U S is mostly to blame. In defense of his one sided coverage of the issue he claims that some of the scientists who doubt the coming calamity are funded or otherwise employed by the industries he is trying to shut down. He neglects to mention that many of the scientists whom he touts are funded by enviromental groups. He has a political side also, he reported on scientist James Hansen's claims that the Bush admin was censoring his work. Blakemore failed to tell his viewers that Hansen accepted $250,000 from Kerry's billionaire wife prior to making his claim.

Should Blakemore quit referring to himself as a "Journalist" and go to work for Greenpeace ???

It seems that judgement has been passed onto Saddam Hussain and it is the death penalty. This could exacerbate the situation in an already unstable country of Iraq.

High casualties could rise to an incredible rate but personally I think the world media might suppress the that while the senseless killing goes on and on. People of all nations will be effected this decision and all this for oil.

Maybe other world leaders should be put on trial for part in the destuction of the earth?

Was wondering what people thoughts are on saddam's hanging. Should it be seen on live tv for all to see or will people have to resort to the internet to find the video of it?

The total number of calsulties over in Iraq for the United States of America is somewhere around 2500. The people of the United States are against this war, against George W. Bush. They're making this war an extremely huge deal when compared with a different war... it is very, very small. In the State of California, motor vehicle accidents nearly twice that number of deaths in a month. Why is the war in Iraq such a big deal... when there is a war all around us? Are you a safe driver?

Saddam guilty ? Justice in the middle east ?

Well the decision handed down today, was that Saddam was found guilty of murdering some 120 innocent people, after an assasination attempt on his life in that area....? The court is suggesting a 'death penality'?

Well where are all the Christians in America, and the religious right that believes that 'thou shalt not kill" ?

Anyway, while we are on the subject of 'innocent people' being killed in the middle east, it is reported that some 200,000 to 400,000 innocent Iraqi's have been killed by the decision to invade that country because Saddam was suppose to have had 'weapons of mass destruction.

Is anyone going to be put on trial for the death of those hundreds of thousands of lives, not to mention the billions in destruction to property.

Imagine if they hang a person for killing a 120 people what the sentence should be for killing hundreds of thousands ?

Where is the real justice and compassion ?

Saddam let us inspect, we found nothing so we made war, but he really did have nothing.

We took his nation anyway because he's a sadistic tyrant, but we knew that when we gave him ammunition, chemicals, helicopters, etc.

Now we will kill him in prison. What does that do for us? Might killing him reduce the violence against us (or in us), or might it increase it? Do we want to erase a living record like this, and if so, why?

As almost anyone can agree, Saddam needs to be punished. He committed crimes against many Shiites and Kurds, but are we sending ourselves back a couple of centuries with this eye-for-an-eye ideology?

Many rational humans across the world, including Muslims, Christians (the pope's top prelate) and the civilized world at large have come out denouncing capital punishment against Saddam.

It also seems like we would be fueling terrorism. Many groups have come out claiming that they will kill more people.

Are we doing the right thing?

This is a major event because if it weren't for Saddam, Desert Storm would have never happened under George Herbert Walker Bush, and we would have never went back there. He'd still be living out his life if he and his sons had agreed to get outta Bagdad by sundown like Bush told him. Also, to give satisfaction to millions of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis for all the pain he has caused.
