I support our trrops who want to help but the should be obey at anytime they say they want to come home! Are we only united when it comes to keeping our troops overseas and not united when it comes to bring them home when they want? There contract for the military is longer than a morgage on a house or a student loan! Should that not change?

Well a little bit of both. On the off chance that the Democrats actually do get control of both houses I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Pelosi submitted a bill to Congress requesting Hussein be rescued from Iraq to be a professor at UCLA. Or even have him put back in power because they feel bad for him!

So at least now when he is hanged she might not have the time to issue that bill.

Sincere. If it weren't for President Bush and our involvement in Iraq, Saddam would still be there doing his thing and killing innocent people. President Bush's decision and our troups are the reason that vile man was caught. The Iraquis sentenced him, not Bush so how could that have been a political ploy on behalf of elections being held in America. If you think our president is evil, then you must also begrudge all our military forces who are doing what their president told them to do. I hope our men and women come home and are treated with respect and not like the Vietnam vets were treated!!!! Sadam wanted to take over the world, just like Hitler did and if we had not interceded, he may just have and you very well could be dead now from a nuclear bomb. Consider that before you trash our President again. Be he democrat or republican, we are UNITED states and it's because we are UNITED that we STAND!!!!

I believe its sincere. I do not think our government had to push any for Saddam Hussein's sentencing. Good timing but not political. I do although believe Hussein should stay alive and have fellow prisoners make his life hell & every thing he did to any person is reciprocated unto him (except death). Giving him the death penalty is letting him off easy.

The Iraqi court decided. They decided when they were ready to make the decision. It is sincere. By the way the elections are tomorrow Nov. 7 not today. Another fine example of liberal intelligence.

Could be a little bit of both. Maybe by Oct. 08 they will catch Osama Bin Laden. That would be interesting.

I think it is purely political- they have either been dragging their feet about it or they are hurrying things just to get a verdict, either way I find it highly suspicious that of all the time they have had to do this , Viola! the verdict is right here at election time- do they really think we are so stupid that we can't see this??

I just hope that Karl Rove is sentenced to death on the eve of the '08 elections.

Elections. Most Iraqis don't feel affected by the verdict in any way. But I see that it's huge news in the US.
