I would like to know what you all think about the war in the Middle East. I hope everyone can be respectful! :)

Not easy to be respectful, but I feel we had every right to go into Afganistan, but no right at all to go into iraq. We have killed more than 20 thousand people in a country that did not attack us.
We have created a haven for terrorists to come and train, we are deep in debt and there is no GOOD way out.

I agree with the previous answer. Aussie troops need to leave Iraq! This is not our war to fight. Billions is being spent on the Iraq war when it could be helping Aussies. When not spend some of the war money relocating displaced Iraqi people?

I think our administration has stuck our necks out there, and Iran is getting ready to drop the ax - now that we've moved our entire military within easy reach of their missiles! And then the U.S. will be completely undefended.

Personally, I feel we should be spending our money right here in the USA, There are so many people who are suffering and need help, all kinds of help and we are turning our heads to them. Our government doesn't have a clue.
