As two days are left for my question, the answers that I received didn't carry much of a weight! Possibly after the results of US polls, I may get some response from those who are interested in the curent world affair! So may I extend for a further period?

The world will be a better place when Saddam Hussein is finally gone. But no one will have as much to look forward to as the people of Iraq.

It only needs to quench the thirst of Iraqis.
As far as the U.S. and U.K. are concerned, the hope is that Saddam Hussein's trial and sentence will serve as notice to other emerging despots, like Kim Jong Il of North Korea, that the world will not tolerate nuclear threats by rogue countries.
We'd better ALL pray that it works.

No but it might quench the survivors whose families' head's were placed on their doorsteps by Saddam - or survivors of the hundreds of thousands found in those mass graves , and all those Iraqi's who cheered when Saddam's statue fell .
