if they deliberately distort the truth or blatantly lie? As an example, Dan rather's story on Bush. Do you think their should be laws that say that all media forms, whether print, televised, or internet will be fined some amount, preferably large, if they are caught fabricating the truth, spinning the truth or distorting the truth beyond recognition?

Looking at Yahoo news, I see that a woman in Colorado is being given trouble for merely having out a wreath that has a peace sign in it. They are calling it an anti-Iraq War protest! I thought that peace was supposed to be universal and good, so why the censorship? Is this just proving that the U.S. has become a bully of a superpower in the world and that the Iraq War isn't a mission for peace but for oil and power? Anybody who is pro-war at all should be pro-war for protecting peace and freedom, not death, violence and oppression, where has the U.S. that cared for the unallienable rights gone?

This sounds like a REALLY strange question, but for the life of me I can't remember. There was some assassination, murder, massacre, etc, in history that, when caught on camera (not video camera) had a horrified-looking girl in the background. Apparently it's fairly famous, but I can't find a picture of it, seeing as I don't know who was being murdered or where it happened. Does anyone have ANY idea what I'm talking about?

White/Black/Poka-dotted, it's never a good thing to ram law enforcement. Someone was probably drunk(was drinking H20 at the strip club?), and decided to get away at his own peril.

A tragedy, yes. Does this merit Sharpton to blow off steam because someone made a very poor choice(and it could be BOTH sides)?

Only if you need to stay in the spotlight. Nothing will change from this. Absolutely NOTHING will come from this, as the human being has been what it has been for thousands of years, and will continue to do so, regardless of the farce we call "civilization"

The most recent attempt of the NYPD to justify the shooting death of yet another unarmed black male and his unarmed friends once again proves that it is open season on black males. After all the vigils, after all the forums, what will be the outcome, another settlement and again another family without a son, a brother, a husband and a father. Why does it continue to happen? When will it end? Will it end? What will be the justification this time?

Isn't it obvious that Saddam's support of Al Qaida was non-existant or minimal at best? Wouldn't the United States have been much more safer if all this effort had been directed in Afghanistan to destroy the core leadership of Al Qaida?

The Democrats seem to cherry pick for only bad news to come from Iraq and use it to discourage the American public against the Bush policy and incourage cut & run which would be failure. As we just saw in the recent elections, the Democrats can only win through the failure of the Republicans. They have no positive ideas to offer. In turn the insurgents feed the left by killing more people. They want us to fail also. Why don't we quit playing politics on this subject and kick *** like the UNTITED States should do.

Many muslims that I have talked to state that Palestine is the core political, social and sentimental issue that causes the middle east and muslim population in general view West with distrust. Although I sympathise with the Palestinina cause, I think it is quite wrong to agree to such a statement. Most of the Islamic movements want to establish a theocracy based on the early Caliphate where the sharia is implemented and non-muslims have to pay Jeziah. Al Quaida, Taliban, Hamas, Islamic Brotherhood in Egypt and Lashkar -e-Taiba are only a few organiztions that are working towards this goal. If Palestine is resolved there will always be a Kashmir or a Sudan or Nigeria. Who knows, there might be even a claim upon Spain.
Do you think that it is foolish to keep a theocracy as an ultimate goal? Shouldn't such organizations be considered a hinderence in the world's acceptance of Islam?

i am a playing the part of a serious presenter of a political talkshow and i need a witty, catchy title. The show is quite serious and in the style of Newsnight or Question Time (both boring names) with different people discussing political issues.

10 points will be given to the best title,

happy titling!
