What proof do you have of anything but the Lee Harvy Oswald explanation?

People have dissected and torn the facts apart trying to implicate the CIA, Cuba, KGB, aliens, an upset Marilyn Monroe, plus all sorts of oddball ideas. Yet, they never have proof. The only evidence is that a lone gunman did the shooting from the book depository window. A gun was recovered and so was a shooter. The evidence indicates Oswald.

What the conspiracy people point to is inconsistencies. Guess what, when you have hundreds of witnesses to an event, you will have inconsistencies. Did you know that there are different reports to how the Titanic sank? Some people said it stayed in one piece as it went under. Others said that it rolled over as it sank. Some also said it broke apart. Inconsistencies. Does this mean there was a conspiracy to sink the Titanic? No, it means that people will get their story wrong from time to time.

Until someone can come up with evidence such as confessions (from living people who are of sound mind) or photos of the people committing the act or of forensic evidence that indicates inconclusively that there was another shooter (such as a different calibre bullet being found), then there is no point in believing in conspiracy theories. Looking at a little out of place detail and then building a story with no evidence to support it to explain how a conspiracy happened is like chasing your tail. Gets you nowhere and is dizzying to watch.

The matter was investigated extensively at the time, and there are no grounds for supposing that anyone other than Lee Harvey Oswald had anything to do with it.

It was Lee Harvey Oswald, a lone gunman. That's all.
