Isn't it obvious that Saddam's support of Al Qaida was non-existant or minimal at best? Wouldn't the United States have been much more safer if all this effort had been directed in Afghanistan to destroy the core leadership of Al Qaida?

Iraq is now more dangerous than it was before the invasion, Saddam controlled those islam groups and there were no explosions and terrorists acts, now Iraq is just blow ups and thousands of dead
