In the U.S. we have a Judeo/Christian tradition and culture. This is evident in Hollywood's typecast portrayal of Arabs as sinister evil doers. Also, It is impossible to be elected to high positions in government without supporting Israel and their interests. I personally believe that for the U.S. to regain any respect in that area of the world it will need to seek justice before peace. For a different slant on the news in the Middle East read the English version of Aljazeera online.

Hi, How can you say the Israelis are the aggressors when in every news account I have read or seen shows the Palestinians killing innocent civilians with car bombs and suicide bombs strapped to their bodies. The Israelis are retaliating by shooting and killing those that are actively at war against them. The Israelis do not intentionally kill innocent children and civilians where as the Palestinians do.
