The most recent attempt of the NYPD to justify the shooting death of yet another unarmed black male and his unarmed friends once again proves that it is open season on black males. After all the vigils, after all the forums, what will be the outcome, another settlement and again another family without a son, a brother, a husband and a father. Why does it continue to happen? When will it end? Will it end? What will be the justification this time?

Policemen generally, anywhere, are, and always have been, and always will be, a bad idea.
They are CORRUPT.
They are probably brought to the position by their ability to juggle both the clandestine whims of the federal government as well as organized crime.
Does that sound like the sort of work an honest man with a conscience and a huge trust of authority does to you??!!

Unfortunately I see no end in sight. The problem is white America refuses to see that their is racism and those who see it and know it are either the ones being racist or has no idea what to do about it. Black America are so busy living everyday life that they are not willing to stand up for a cause and remain standing no matter how long it takes. If we were the Rosa Parks of yesterday with our same take care of yourself attitudes we would still be sitting and standing in the back of the bus. Our generation would have said, " I have to get to work! so I'm taking the bus! Besides, she knew the law, why should I walk?" I am sorry to say, we are allowing this to happen to our black men or black children. We make noise and if they make us wait long enough we stop talking and move on with our lives with little change made. We have no real Black leaders. There are no more MARTIN LUTHER KINGS or MALCOLM X's in the world! We have the ones that are trying to get ahead in their own political careers. They are only as loud as we asks them to be. They figure if they make some noise while Black America is listening then they could put a bid for a political position at a later time! So, to answer your question No! I don't think we got it yet and the sad fact is I don't think we will get it until every single Black family has been touched by this tragedy!

Who is the people who watch of the Poilce? No one really. They can cover there mistakes or do bad things and get away with it. I was a cop for 10 yrs here in Fresno, Ca and they cover alot up! For every one you hear on the News.....There are 100 that do get reported because the police cover it up. The only reason he hear about things like what happend in NY is because the news catches on and reports it. To answer you question It will never end until someone can be help accountable. Look if a cop kills someone....What happends? The police 1st say right away....The person was going for a gun. Then the cop gets paid leave......then after everything dies down they come back to the dept....The police is like a bad gov at times......So sorry people but you just have to be careful.

he is refering to the mayor who called it ecessive force
if he is making the judgement b/c of 50 shots and only three unarmed people as of yesterday they were saying that there could have been a 4th person. and the cops are taught to fire until they feel that they are safe and no longer theatened. so until they have spoken to all the cops and deterimined if there was a 4th person it is still a matter of opion and there could be alot of histiled and then people might not feel safe with the cops.
my feeling the cops were theatened and did what they had to.what everyone is forgetting that they said there might have been a 4th person....maybe there was a gun and he took it. and if they already hit and undercover cop and hit an undercover police car the other cops had every right to feel theatened and do what ever they felt they had to do. and lets not forget that there was more then one cop there so its not like all 50shots came from one officer.now dont think that i dont feel bad that that guy died but. he wasnt "un armed" he had a car that could do as much damage if not more then a gun
ok i dont know why everyone always thinks its racial but cops dont look to see what color the person is. thye see a person who is a theat and they just try to make the sence safe for everyone.

Do your homework before you answer. These cops were entering into a possible firefight (outside the club ... potential shootout. cop overhears Bell's friend Joseph Guzman tell his buddies, "Yo, get my gun! Get my gun! Let's get my gun from the car! Yeah, we're gonna f- - - him up!" the sources said.driver had called out to another friend), when they tried to stop the perps (after IDing themselves as cops) car hits cop and rams another cop car. Car backs up hits another cop car, rams a building. starts out again for the cops......This is when the shooting happened. Had these fine men stopped for the police, or had they not tried to kill the cops... perhaps this could have been avoided. Heres one more thing... one of the men ran from the car .... perhaps with a gun because.... two shell casings were found inside the car. hmmmm did the felons in the car actually have AND FIRE a gun. Makes one think. Last thing, a car can be a deadly weapon when it is aimed at a person (as it was here) Cops shoot to remove a threat. Once the threat ended, so did the shooting

REASON--- That idea will never set in with white American, and some of black america.. People are still in denial. There's still a lot that people don't know, but There is no reason for Police to shoot at a car 50!! times. PLUS-- The NY police department's policy on shooting at moving vehicles states: "Police officers shall not discharge their firearms at or from a moving vehicle unless deadly force is being used against the police officers or another person present, by means other than a moving vehicle." One officer empted two clips!! The Police knew better not to shoot at the three unarmed men... Why do you think they did it???? - its obvious.

Wait...what about him running into a cop, hitting their vehicle...does any of that matter? It's not like they are target practicing on them. Put yourself in their position. What would you do?
