He is a rich man today because his father was CEO & Chairman of a huge coal company. Talk about global warming and destroying the environment he hit the jackpot. As soon as he justifies his wealth I worry about global warming caused by us. Besides I have always heard cows put more methane in the atmosphere than everything man does. Does that mean Al wants to do away with cows?

After giving your opinions on the respective veracity of any news outlets you want, please tell me how is it that so many people seem willing to not only accuse a news outlet of bias with inappropriate presentation, but also of incontestibly lying about something based solely on a pattern of alleged or proven lies that have no, or insufficient, relation to the item of the allegation.

I would hope regular news consumers would be smarter.

At least, whether or not the claims made in them are valid, using sources other than anecdotal experience in inference, to contest that a news outlet is a pattern liar or at least lied about something specific, is more respectable a premise.

Please criticise my rant as well.

South Park seems to always be on top of social issues these days. They seem to make very good points in every episode(behind all the fart jokes and what not) on what is going on in today's world. What are your thoughts?

This should be America's #1 priority. "Free" electricity to all US citizens. A federal initiative to generate the US power needs from wind, solar, ocean currents and other alternative energy sources. By setting the goal, we can easily achieve that goal as a nation. Just as we set the goal to land on the moon... With free electricity, cars can be plugged in, instead of fueled. This initiative saves American's a significant amount of money, it protects us from relying on foreign oil, it helps planet earth, it provides millions of new jobs. We have plenty of desert for solar panels and we are surrounded by ocean currents and tradewinds that can easily produce all the electricity we need. Now we just need a leader with a little common sense and some guts!
