Not all undocumented people are from Mexico. Who said the United States belongs to anyone? Do you know what native means? Well, Native Americans, or what people refer to as Indians, are indigenous to America...you know the land of the free where liberty and justice for all is promoted. I don't see any fine print, do you? Seems to me that WE ARE ALL IMMIGRANTS and we have all helped build this nation. It is not the "illegal immigrants" distorting the system. It is our own political system that is just not working out quite the way everyone expects. Do you honestly think that there will be more justice if we were all gone when the worst offenders are within the system. It is ironic that we would sacrifice our lives and go to war for a country that doesn't welcome us or our loved ones; however we cannot work and build a life here. I've got a news flash for everyone. It is not an "American Dream" people. It is everyones. Who wouldn't want to live freely? The U.S. is not the center of the world and should not expect everyone to obey their every command. It is certainly not the worst place either. Why don't they stick their noses in places like Darfur. Of course, there is no oil there. Meanwhile back in the States, lets just blame everything on the Mexicans. Great mentality. Sounds like a five year old. With that said. Yes. Mexicans should go back to Mexico. That would be the only way that the "people with papers" would acknowledge that they were wrong all along and indeed the "Mexicans" were an asset. I would like nothing better than to have that satisfaction. By the way, the statue of liberty can be seen as false advertisement. They should take "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,...Send these, the homeless,... I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" and amend it by adding "for those who can prove their legal status".

No, unless they're illegal. Then, yes, some should have to go back. People should remember why most immigrants come here, but there are legitimate reasons for having immigration laws. (Yes, the laws need restructuring.) Do you fully understand the repercussions of opening the border without any laws involved? In response to a previous remark - some of my white family have physically worked to the bone for pennies, so don't make such an ignorant remark like white people don't work these jobs, when some, in fact, do. Racism is wrong, no matter what angle you try to jab it into society.

If they're illegal - yes. If they're legal - let them learn English like everyone else, get a job, pay taxes and stay here. This country started out as a nation of immigrants and it should continue that way - at least for now. It is starting to get awful crowded and eventually, we're going to have to turn people away since food, housing and employment will become a problem.

Yes. The sooner the better. If they don't leave it's only a matter of time until they turn this country into a pigsty like the one they left from. Hey, fix your own country and don't even think about trashing mine.

Unless they want to learn our language and become legal citizens- yes they should.....just another reason our country is turning to schmutz- they are turning it into Mexico. Why on earth do I see Spanish on every friggin sign- in banks, movie theaters, restrooms, phones etc etc. THIS IS AMERICA NOT MEXICO! If you want to speak Spanish- or any other language for that matter.....go back to your country.

If they want to remain mexican, and enjoy the mexican culture, then yes. If they want to become Americans then they are welcome to enter into our society legally.

they do a lot of hard work that no one gives them credit for. they don't take many jobs away, and because they usually aren't earning much, they wouldn't give much taxes. I say they can stay they really help people out with daily life and don't get credit for it.
