Does America make it too easy for people to justify being overweight? (Too many fast food places, weight loss surgery offered to freely...etc.)

No way. People need to take responsibility for their actions. The swelling in supply is a result of the increase in demand. Nobody's making anyone go out there and inhale fast food. The second the government steps in to do something about it, heads'll be up in arms about rights and freedoms and choices-- $h!t like that. But look what they do with them when they have them.

And who pays? The average joe does. Health insurance premiums are too high now because nobody's taking care of themselves. $h!t, I wouldn't insure the average fat slob, either-- it's bad business.

We have a responsibility to take care of ourselves and each other, but no one wants to take that responsibility.

America's a capitalist machine doing what it does best-- making money. And American's are self-serving, selfish children doing what they do best-- abusing freedoms, taking advantage, and passing that buck.

Ditto. It's a choice, we all know what we should and should not be eating.
