First, the WTC didn't turn into dust in a matter of ten seconds. It took time before they came down. I don't remember the precise numbers, but those working in the WTC had time to make last phone calls and/or send a last e-mail.
The hijackers chose flights to California so that the planes would be fully loaded with jet fuel turning the planes into bombs. The high temperature of the burning fuel caused structural joints to fail bringing down the towers.
I'm sorry but I didn't read the paper you mentioned. I've read quite a lot of other material on this disaster, because I grew up in a part of NJ that is only 20 miles of mostly open water from the site of the WTC. Our area had the second highest number of deaths of towns in NJ. At this point, I can't handle reading any more about it.

Gravity. See Isaac Newton. They never planned for the buildings to be subjected to the intense heat of burning jet fuel from nearly full jumbo jets flown into the upper floors where no one could even try to put out the flames. The entire perimiter of the structure was being compromised by the fires, not just one corner. The floors where the planes hit were instantly destroyed. The corners weakened almost simultaneously and could no longer support the tremendous weight above them. Every sixth floor sounds to me like some structural cross-bracing and if you overload those they would also pop with extra force. You can't just build straight up without cross-bracing or the building would twist in the wind . Happened to another NY skyscaper-Citicorp and they had to add external cross-bracing to it.

I've a better question for you. How is that the WTC could have been brought down in a controlled demolition when it would have taken at least a month of work to plant and wire the charges? How is it possible that no one noticed the demolition crews?
Try using your brain for once instead of listening to the ravings of idiots. We all saw the planes hit the buildings....oh, yeah...that's just the cover story.
Right....like American and United Airlines, struggling to make a profit, would willfully sacrifice 200 million worth of airplanes just so Bush can wage his little war. Uh-huh! Gotcha!

It was to clean. Accidental maybe if one tower did that.. chance of 1 in a million. 2 is to great a chance to ever happen.
The second ( and lets not forget the third) also did "the perfect dive". If I were the demolition man I would be very proud of one tower falling that clean...3 is a G0dd@mned miracle.

Watch out friend! The Bilderbergs, The Trilateral Commission and The New World/UN/Amish conspiracy have implanted the microchips in your head and are tracking you! Run, hide, put up aluminum foil on your walls and make your foil hat before they read your brainwaves!
Get a life!

Tons of weight, dropped from a high height.
GRAVITY?
The terminal velocity of a building falling is higher then most objects, so they hit harder.
