After giving your opinions on the respective veracity of any news outlets you want, please tell me how is it that so many people seem willing to not only accuse a news outlet of bias with inappropriate presentation, but also of incontestibly lying about something based solely on a pattern of alleged or proven lies that have no, or insufficient, relation to the item of the allegation.

I would hope regular news consumers would be smarter.

At least, whether or not the claims made in them are valid, using sources other than anecdotal experience in inference, to contest that a news outlet is a pattern liar or at least lied about something specific, is more respectable a premise.

Please criticise my rant as well.

The only thing we can do is change channels, I've already done that.
