My parents have only one picture from their wedding, and it somehow got stuck in one spot to the glass part of the frame. The glass actually got cracked when the frame was dropped, but we can't replace it because we are afraid of tearing the picture. Does anybody know if it can be steamed off or something without being damaged? If so, where could i get this done at? THanks for your help!

A wild peahen took up residence in our neighborhhod in June. It feeds itself (we never give it anything). It seems quite happy. The problem is it poops everywhere, especially on my 93 year old mostly blind Grandmother's decks. She is wheelchair bound most of the time but can walk her decks without help. The peahen mess is a worry as we are afraid Gram will slip and hurt herself.

We have tried all wildlife agencies, park department and audiobon societies as well as peahen rescue, no one wants the bird. We want to scare it away from our neighborhood. I am afraid to catch it myself-it has very long talons and sharp break (they kill corbras in India for food!).

Any ideas?

A month ago had a grease fire in the kitchen, son was heating up oil for french fries, left unattended. Fire department had to come, fire investigators. Landlady looked into condo insurance and had them come out. Now we, me and my son have to pay deductible which is 2500.00. I am not working, he lost his job the day of fire. Want to move but she went and got a civil action from court incase we move out. They have not been good landlords, took 3 yrs to get hood for stove but went up in the fire. If we move I am afraid that it will mess up my son's credit, he want sto eventually buy house, only 19 right now. Landlady would take out line of credit and we pay monthly for about 6 months to pay off. Is it worth it, that is once he finds a job. Everyone in my family is saying move, but I don't know, I want to but not sure what consequences be with the court judgement, not for me my son.

We had just moved into a new home about a month ago, when my wife and i watched as the next door neighbor dug a hole on the wasteground at the back of our communal garden.

we knew from his wife that their dog had recently died so thought that must be what he was up to.

two days ago he was at it again, as soon as it was dusk, donning surgical gloves, he buried something small in a black plastic dustbin bag.

We have both attempted to say hello to this guy but unlike his wife (who we haven't seen for a few days) he's pretty quiet and basically just grunts. so aproaching him isn't really very easy.

any serious suggestions as to what we should do?

I have noticed in the house that aphids are flying around sometimes more than other times. I have tried to kill them by my hand but can't seem to kil enough that way, they are so fast. What can I use to spray in the house that will get rid of them. Something I can spray and leave the house for a short time. I hate it, when I am eating a few are around me and trying to swat them all the time. They are annoying. I only have one houseplant they are not bothering with it. Don't know why I have them in the house, first time. No food left out.
