Try stitching a few pads of velcro to the cushion, and tack a sheet of crafter's felt (bought by the yard at a fabric store) on the sofa frame under the cushion. Did this with an old sofa and it worked great.

Just like most "advertised on TV" products, it doesn't work as shown. If the only problem with your couch is a bit of sag in the springs, it will look okay but be hard as a rock. Now if the frame is not in perfect shape, you'll have a gap between the cushions and the couch itself. It won't be long, as in minutes, before the fix breaks trying to bridge the gap. It isn't sturdy enough for that. Go to a home improvement store and have them cut a piece of plywood to the dimensions of the cushion area of your couch.

Velcro buttons. You can get them at the fabric store with a sticky backing - one piece for the cushion, the other piece for the sofa.

Put one of those pads they make to keep rugs in place under it or even those rubbery liners for cabinets.
