I live in a rural country area on the 3rd floor where there is a flat black-top roof 20’x10’. I have cats who like to hang out on this roof, mostly at night when it is cooler. One of my cats is quite the hunter and has managed to catch and kill at least seven bats this summer. This fact, albeit impressive, concerns me due to the loss of bats, which are extremely good to have around. I am looking for help in detouring the bats from the area around my roof and don’t know if there is a sound or barrier I can create. Other than keeping the cats in, which is not an option.

I got in 2 bunches of stargazer lilies that were picked way too early. They buds are so tight that they have been sitting in water for 3 days and haven't changed. What can I do to get them to open up for this weekend?

my tomotoes are still green, some are very large and some are quiet small both on the same stem.Ones i planted later i have already had a good crop from they are all planted outside in sun area.How do i make them ripen.they have been fed on a weekly basis for three months only being a A/G for this season not got much of a clue i ve been told to pick the toms and put in paper bag in dark warm place is this correct others say just leave the toms to ripen outside, on the vine

It has big white flowers that bloom and a lot of leaves. There is about 7 flowers blooming right now. They look like big bells if you turn them upside down. This flower started growing beside my parents house and they are unsure of what it is called and what the best suitable growing conditions are for this plant to survive the rest of the summer. We are also curious if it will regrow next year and if it could possibly be poisoness to children or pets. I do have a picture of it; however, I do not know how to post the flower for everyone to see.

I have had 3 appraisals done, for different mortgage companies. The first was very good. The second, I don't know much about, but after the company got it back they started to process our application, so it must have been ok, the third one had false statements on it and even a picture they said was of the inside of my house which showed a moldy wall to back up their claim that we need a new roof. That picture was not of the inside of my house, I do not have a leak, do not have a moldy wall, and have no idea where they got the picture. Was it incompetence or did they do it deliberately? I think so, I can't imagine why, but it lost us the refinance we were trying for. What should I do? I have talked to another appraiser who offered to look at my house for free, but that would be a 4th appraisal and what good would that do? These people are licensed and must have some standards to meet, must be required to file honest reports. Who should I call to report what I feel is fraud?

I don't know anything about home security systems, so I'm not sure if this was installed by the builder or if this was something that was added on by a previous owner. My wife and I really can't afford to buy a house right now and we rent a small house now for $550 a real deal! I treat this place as if it were my own mow the acre lawn keep up the house etc.. But it's now way too small for us as for my wife is pregnant.

I have only had these spiders in the house this year, they are horrible and are everywhere. Their bodies are small but they have really long legs and make cob webs everywhere, as soon as you get rid of the cob webs they are making new ones, they are also outside in the shed so are not particular to the house. Any suggestions
