Do window installation air conditioners have to have access to the outside? In other words, could I set one on a table and have it operate normally? I ask because I saw some "portable" air conditioners that do not need outside air, but are pretty expensive. I would like to get a cheap window one if it will work.

I have, unassembled, a table that's normally too long for our dining room. I'd like to cut a leaf out of it so we can use its full length only when we need it. How much should it cost to have a local cabinet shop cut out the middle of the table top and two aprons?

We're building a house and I have to choose colors for siding, shutters, gutters, and shingles. The colors we like from the american herald line are wicker, graystone, cactus, clay, cape blue, heather, and ivory. As you can tell I have a lot of narrowing-down to do. It is sooo hard to imagine a house a certain color just by looking at the color card. I'm looking for volunteers to do some local snooping and find me a place. local bulliten boards and newspapers are key. ill be moving to colorado this summer and im looking to find a nice cozy cabin like or mountain setting house for rent. I'd like for it to be within 45 minutes drive to red rocks community college in lakewood. I want the rent to be under 900 a month and i want it to house 3 people comfortably. 2 bedrooms is a must, two bedrooms and a loft is a plus. 3 bedrooms fine. someone told me town bullitens are a good place to look. I;d really appreciate anyone dropping me a line and letting me know of anything they know about

my husband and I are having problems with the land lord....wont
go into details much but here is the sum of it...we moved in three months ago with the promise of a working washer and dryer we have told them many times it does not work and they have done nothing. we are not suppost to block the drive way but the down stairs poeple do and they now them so they get in no trouble...so we have a hard time getting in and out and then there the rent and gas and water she suppost to call us and tell us the total after she divides the gad and water so we know the total to send her but she has never shown us a bill and doesn't tell us how much we owe her when she calles so what do we do help please

I have tried and tried to plant tomatoes in my garden, but it doesnt seem to be working. They dont ever grow to their potential size and I dont know if its because I might have weeds that is preventing them from growing or not. I pull my weeds so I dont know what else it could be.I would appreciate it if someone would give me some tips. Thanks!!
