They are digging holes around and under my buildings.

a .22 caliber short round. don't use a standard .22 they are too loud if you have neighbors. also put a baby bottle nipple over the end of the muzzle. no one will ever hear a thing. one shot per nipple though. happy hunting.

I had an accidental epiphany, I had a small sunflower crop at the edge of my corn field. When I found all most all the sunflowers hacked in half I thought at first corn borers got them. So with out further investigation I covered the small crop withSEVIN DUST.
Two days later I found a dead bloated woodchuck outside my Sunflowers.
Now, I took the dead body and stuffed it back down the hole I discovered and filled it with rocks. That discouraged the rest of the brood from re-digging the same hole, and they went next door!
I have also heard tossing feces down the holes closest to where the woodchucks are doing damage produces the same results as my accidental discovery! Dog,coyote,human,etc. Bugsie
P.S. then if all else fails...22...
