I want to plant a tree that will be great for children to climb -- lots of low, string branches, and one that doesn't give off too much sap to ruin clothing and stick in hair. What kinds of trees make good climbing trees?

I have a lemon tree tht has little 1/4inch worms that tunnel through the leaves. The leaves start off with littl serpentine lines throughout them then they wrinkle up. The worms spread pretty fast. I cut off every single leaf from the tree and sprayed the bark with insecticide. The leaves came back and the worms came back. I scanned the leaf to show the animal. Go to picasaweb.google.com and search lemon tree leaf worm.

It was about an 1/2" spike... and about half of it has been knocked off... will the spike grow back??? or my orchid has to restart again??

*signs* It took me so long to get my orchid spike again.. now it is broken...

I live in northern Michigan. There is snow on the ground here.

... And my lilac is blooming!

OK, so they're not big, tall flower spikes like normal; they're small clumps of flowers, but flowers nevertheless.

What is going on? What would cause a lilac to bloom at this time of year? And what will happen next spring? Are my flower buds for the spring now gone? Is there anything special that I should do to help the lilac for the upcoming spring?
