I just moved into a new home and the builders did the worst job at the “final grading” of my yard. I have tons of rocks! I don’t want to spend a lot of money on a law so I was thinking of doing it myself.
The question is, how much rock do I need to remove? Do I need only 3-4 inches of rock free soil? If I only need 3-4 inches, I can slowly do it myself. If I need more, I need to have someone rockhound it for me.

Any help would be appreciated

The roses in my garden and that of my neighbours have lost their leaves and have got bare stems.

The rain has caused this.

There are little shoots and it appears that the roses are tyring to make more leaves. Is there any thing I can do to help them?

They look so sad. The bushes have roses on them but they look bewildered as the rain has affected them as well.

Thank you

One half of my backyard has tons of sand and the other seems like there is some dirt, but i wouldn't want to spend tons of money to put grass. And is it okay to put artificial grass on the sand?

I bought a Lilly of the Valley about a month ago and the leaves are now turning yellow and I don't want it to die. I left it out in the sun for a while and I also gave it quite a bit of water. I am not sure if that has anything to do with it. I also gave it some root growth stuff to see if that would help but it didn't. It kept getting more and more yellow and there is barely and green anymore. There aren't any flowers yet and it is in a good sized pot. Please help it is a very important plant to me.

MANY of my clients have expressed their disgust at the loss of trees or more often, one specific tree of which they had chosen their property purchase because of. I believe that trees should be counted a "real property" and treated as such! After all, most of us work hard and pay much to keep them healthy and looking good. What do you think?

we have tried some of the remidies, and its right in the middle of the lawn, were trying to keep the lawn but kill the ants and the exterminating company says they cant get rid of them,so im trying things that wont harm the grass, but will kill the ants, these are just sugar ants, but they are stubborn ones, good answers though,im thinking i,ll try a few tomorrow.

My non english speaking neighbors planted what we thought were tomato plants. The foliage looks like tomato, but the fruit or seeds are like green balloon pods. About 2 inches round. We have not opened one to find out what is inside. These plants have spread like wildfire. Any ideas? I would ask the neighbor, but can't seem to communicate.

i need to replace my mower, and was wondering how effective these are in comparison to an electric mower? i know it would save energy (and be a good workout for me!) but how good are they at cutting the grass?
any comments appreciated, thanks
