YES. A six foot chain-link fence was no problem, (although changing direction at the top wasn't exactly dainty).

In my experience, Hedgehogs can only usually climb to the length of their own bodies.

Yes, I've seen one climb a chain link fence too. It tried to squeeze through half way up and squealed a lot when it got stuck!

yes they can climb,i saw one not so long ago climbing over a garden wall so it could get to the other side to feast on insects.hope this answers your question

yes they can and on one of Attenboughs programmes there was a film of a family climbing a wall.

Since the claws on the front feet are short I would say no, they can't. Burrowing is what they love, so why would they climb? (Although I imagine if they're chased, they can scamper over things without problem, like a stone wall or a fallen tree.)

Yes they are quite athletic given their little legs. They obviously can't climb vertical surfaces with no "grip" but they do lots of scrambling.

They can climb up kerb edges but not over walls etc.
