I live in Eastern Ontario and I was wondering what flowers will be in bloom around the 5th of August. My grandmother is getting married and I wanted to make the boquet out of flowers from mine or my mother's gardens. Thanks!

I planted it next to a brick wall in hopes that it would grow over the wall and cover it. I cut the plastic bands around it and water it almost everyday, what else do I need to do?

I have a vegetable/fruit/herb garden and I have found it infested with some kind of bug. They are less than 1/4" (0.6cm) long, have small wings, and their bodies appear black with white stripes. I do see them flying around but more often than not I seen tens if not hundreds of them walking around on the soil.

I also see what I suspect are small ones, eggs perhaps, white specks that seem to stick to my plants (especially my mint plant). I see tiny green bugs as well, I cant tell if they are the same as these or younger, but they don't look like the descriptions I have seen of aphids.

I captured one of them and took some photos. I need to understand what they are, what problems they might pose to my growing garden and me, as well as how to get rid of them if need be.

Ive been trying to find out what it is since i bought it. it has kind of thick dark green stems and it grows leaves that are verigated, thin (for a succulent), and sort of waxy. the closest thing i could compare it to is like a succulent version of bamboo. please help!

I am having a fall wedding, and I am trying to come up with unique idea's. for the place cards, they will be leaf's hanging from a tree, with people's name's and the table they are sitting at.. only instead of a number for the table, I was going to name each table, by the name of a tree. I have 14 tables to name. Help please?

When and how is the best time to split hostas? Can it be done all summer long? I have huge masses of them and want to move some to our back yard this week (I live in eastern Kansas if that matters). Any help greatly appreciated!

I grew some daisies from seed this year. As they are perennials, they won't bloom this year. How can I over-winter them in a pot so they will come up next year and bloom? Will they die down on their own? What about watering them over winter? I'd like to sit them out in front of the house next spring, in bloom.

I have a tree that gives out berries that look a lot like black berries. The birds eat them and do not die, do you think I could eat them too? Also, we are in zone three. What do you think this tree is?

i recently moved into a new apartment and in the backyard, there is a lattice with many vines on it. i thought nothing of this, but i just noticed there are little berries that look like grape all over the vines. i took one and cut it open and it looks like it could be the beginning of a grape, but im not sure, it is quite small and green. could this be a grape or any other suggestions what this vine could be?
