I've heard that Chili Pepper will get rid of cats becaues they don't like the smell or taste of it when it gets on their fur. Maybe that will work for foxes, too. If that doesn't work, try taking those long toothpick-like things and breaking them in half. Stick a bunch of them in the gravel where the fox likes to go and then, he/she won't be able to go there anymore or he/she will get poked in the paw(s). lol Good luck with this problem!

Fox Poo In Garden

Wild animals do not like to approach where they expect dogs or humans to be. If you don't have a dog, you can get dog hair trimmings from a pet groomer (like a major chain pet store). You can also put down people hair trimmings from a beauty salon or barber shop.

You can put the hair trimmings in a net bag and weight it down with a rock. Put this where the fox likes to go, and that should solve your problem. You'll have to replace the hair when you've had a good rain.

This is a non-poisonous method that won't hurt any creatures that are supposed to be there.

Good luck.

i read somewhere that you can deter both foxes and cats by spreading lion poo on your garden !!!! now if you live anywhere near to a zoo, thats great. but if not, there was a hugh fearnley whittingstall programme river cottage, and he put something into old pairs of tights and hung them around his chicken coop....should work with gardens too. could have been lion poo too, but if you go to rivercottage website i'm sure theres something there about it....good luck !!!

Moth balls work great. Most animals do not like the smell of them and run away.

Though, if it rains, you need to replace them.

Try motion sensor sprinklers, Carolwright.com, or check ebay I believe they have them. They shoot water when an animal or intruder approaches the property.
