We had new concrete footings poured for a large deck. They were poured approx. four hours ago and now we have very heavy rain. Will the footings be okay or will the rain have an adverse effect on the concrete? Thanks for any answers.

I have a very wet and soggy garden spot that needs filling. We are moving and wanting to rent our house so I prefer to have something that would be perrenial and easy enough for our renters to take care of. I should also tell you we live in Kentucky if that gives you any idea of climate. Does anyone have any good suggestions for decent looking plants that would like all the water that pools in this spot?? Thanks for all your help everybody!

I bought three lucky bamboo plants a year ago. One I keep on my desk at work and two I keep at home right next to each other. All 3 are in water with some marbles and the ones at home receive no natural light but have done fine. One of the ones at home has turned yellow and is kind of mushy. The other one is fine. It happened over night. Anyone know what might have happened? There is a few small leafy sprouts about two inches long. Can I cut them off and grow them on thier own?

If they were trees with especially thick branches this would be good.

I bought some Darwin tulip bulbs last October in Dallas, Tx and I brought them to my tropical country and I forced them to start blooming right in this month. I putted them in the fridge for 3 months and now I planted them in a big pot that can accomodate them well. 18 of 20 bulbs grew and already 4 are producing flowers.

I want know if I can keep doing this year after year, and what is the perfect way to make them bloom well and profusely? I want to know the total procedure in order to avoid any mistake. I heard that you have to leave all leaves until they get dry then you can take them from the soil and repeat the sequence.

Thanks to everybody!!
