Look for the 'exchange' link on this website, you may be able to get the seeds you're searching for, for the cost of a self-addressed stamped envelope.
Good luck!

Hi
I grow all kinds of poppys inclueding the papaver somniferum, look on ebay for seeds you only have to buy seeds once since the poppys lifespan is mostly about the seeds in the pods so super easy to get 1000's of seeds from one plant, i grow all my poppys for the beauty of the plant not to use in tea or other things but i do know that theres only one poppy that is used for such things so you better know what your doing cuz some poppys will make you sick, you will find the seeds on ebay...good luck

Yes, you can buy them in any grocery store spice rack but not in garden centers. Contrary to popular belief these seeds are viable and will produce high quality opium. All poppy flowers are similar but Papaver somniferum is easy to distinguish from garden variety Oriental poppy by there waxy grey green leaves. Oriental poppies have bright green fuzzy leaves. I saw poppy seeds at the Home Depot today, but I didn't catch the variety name so I don't know if they're what you are looking for. Maybe this link will help..

you can order them off of e-bay. You then have to grow them. you can collect the pods put them in a blender cook and strain to make a relaxing tea. Becareful growing them for use other than ornamental is illegal. And consumtion can cause dizzyness and vomitting,

you can most likely buy poppy seeds but they will be the sterile kind, for ornamental use only. the state departments use them when they plant the medians in the highways
