I bought three lucky bamboo plants a year ago. One I keep on my desk at work and two I keep at home right next to each other. All 3 are in water with some marbles and the ones at home receive no natural light but have done fine. One of the ones at home has turned yellow and is kind of mushy. The other one is fine. It happened over night. Anyone know what might have happened? There is a few small leafy sprouts about two inches long. Can I cut them off and grow them on thier own?

Hi there. Sorry for your trouble. You can discard the mushy one or cut above the mushy part and have it re-root itself. Sometimes they will take. Sometimes not. I think it's worth a shot. They sometimes get too much sun.Other than that I'm not quite sure what could of happened. I have found that if it is happy in one spot moving it was my downfall. Hope things work out well.
